Yesterday I acquired the domain Zombie.com.au on the expired auctions. Thanks Drop!

Like a lot of domain name investors, I really value most single word generics / brandables. This one is a little different – but it’s for that reason I love it!

Potential

As a brandable domain, this is both quirky and awesome in my opinion. You just have to look at the number of different trade mark registrations at IP Australia. There are “zombies” everywhere. 😀

Quirky names do sell. Just last week I sold FlyingPigs.com.au to a digital agency for a decent 4 figure sum. A true win / win situation.

Footnote

Whilst I do have a parking page for this domain, I decided to also register a Business Name and use this as my eligibility for auDA purposes. Yes it costs $36 for a year, but it does offer an extra level of safeguard. I do this for a number of my domains.

Good potential. An even better domain was monster.com.au.

Sorry to agree with you twice in one week Ned but I think it is not a bad name. Relatively common business term and fairly in vogue to use this kind of name. Could apply to a fairly wide number of businesses. Probably not going to be a bank or insurance company but could be a fashion/lifestyle type brand.

That is a great domain Ned 👍😎

It could also represent domain investors after many late nights scouring the internet fo great domain names! 🤣😜

In terms of highly memorable, brandable domains, it is a winner.

One of the rare generic names that does not actually mean something factual but one that pretty much everyone has heard before.

    Nice one! 👍👍
