This is mind blowing! Looking at the newly registered .au domains from the 4th Oct Drop auctions that ended up being monetised by Above.com we can see a rather crazy percent of new .au names actually receive:
– type in traffic
– backlink traffic
– search traffic
We had a closer look at a random 10,000 new .au domains added to Above on the 4th Oct and these were the surprising stats:
7,296 of the 10,000 newly registered domains logged at least 1 visitor to the domain with the highest count being 3,349 visitors in 5 days of reported traffic stats.
The highest parking revenues generated from a single domain in 3 days was AU$72.00 (only 3 days as revenue stats are usually a few days behind)
A further 150 .au domains generated parking revenues in the 3 days we checked. This will be a rather interesting report to re-check after a few months to see what happens and how many more of these domains receive traffic and earn revenues when checking over a longer period.

Absolute Shock .au Domains Have Traffic!
Just ran a quick update and now just over 90% of the above domains have had at least 1 unique visitor to date. Simply amazing results for the new .au name space.
