Had a pleasant exchange of emails with Di Parker (Company Secretary – auDA) yesterday. Wanted to find out about the July Board Minutes and the August Agenda.
She apologised for the delay, and assured me they would go up today / tomorrow.
Di explained that auDA has just finished shifting into new office premises at 1 Collins Street, Melbourne. Shifting is always stressful, so I’m happy to pay that as an excuse! This office relocation was covered in the December Minutes.
I’m surprised though that members weren’t told of this relocation in the last newsletter – or at the SGM on 31st July. auDA said then that they have received the message loud and clear that communication and transparency are important. I call shifting offices (after more than a decade) important news.

I guess moving to cheaper digs is a good thing.
Best. Joke. Ever.
I’m trying to give auDA a break at the moment, but I must say, moving offices is something you tell your members before you actually do it.
It’s the little details like this, that cause you to wonder what kind of bigger stuff you’re not being told…
“Tomorrow starts today” ….
