There is a rort going on, and it involves ineligible entities and people registering domain names when they are not supposed to. They are not following auDA rules, and the regulator seems to be letting them get away with it.

auDA needs to concentrate their compliance weapons on those doing the most damage.

The PRP has unanimously recommended auDA Board approve Direct .AU Registrations

The 20th May, 2019, is now the OFFICIAL DATE when Direct Registration Implementation will either be abandoned altogether… or… for the first time since Direct .AU Registration was first discussed, eleven and a half years ago, we will finally know how it’s going to be implemented and what date it will be switched on.
