Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mums out there! It’s one of the most rewarding things in the world to be a Mum – and it’s also one of the most challenging in this day and age. I take my hat off to all of you today.
My two “boys” have both left home, so I hope they remember to give their Mum a call today! Hint, hint. đŸ™‚
Reflection 1
I just love the business of being a domainer. Where else can you consistently purchase a product where you have the potential to “flip” or resell it reasonably quickly with a massive ROI?
The next best thing is that the investment required in our industry is so minimal compared to most other investments – particularly real estate. In some instances, “our” product can be as cheap as $25!
And then there’s the lack of red tape, forms, government fees etc … I could go on and on. đŸ™‚
Reflection 2
Whilst you can purchase domains for $25 like I wrote above, the best buys are when you are prepared not to be timid. Be regularly prepared to spend $500 if it’s a good domain – even low four figures if you have to. That’s where the real opportunities lie in my opinion.
In this last week, I accepted offers on two domains that I had only recently purchased. Both of these domains were bought on the drops for low four figures – and what I sold them for would make your eyes water. đŸ˜‰ Purchasers were both endusers who approached me.
I remember writing this article almost a year ago. Don’t be afraid to pay is still my advice today!
