It never ceases to amaze me when businesses that have obviously invested a lot into an online presence don’t bother responding to enquiries.
More so when they also spend money on adwords campaigns with Google.
Yesterday afternoon I went online to search for “airport transfers Melbourne”. I wanted a vehicle to pick my son and me up tomorrow and take us to South Yarra; and then do the return trip the following day.
I filled out enquiry / booking forms on four websites in order to get a quote – three of which were adwords listings.
The only response I got was from the non-adwords site – Premium Taxis. I got a courteous email from them within 2 hours.
Guess who got the business!
Sometimes all you need to do to win is turn up!
