Yesterday the domain name tafeonlinecourses.com.au was purchased on the expired auctions at Netfleet for $10,000 + GST.
This is a very strong price, particularly given that tafecourses.com.au sold on Netfleet in August 2014 for $5621.
The purchaser is NOW HIRING PTY LTD – this is their website.
I reached out to Jonathan Gleeson (General Manager at Netfleet) this morning, and he confirmed the sale. Congratulations to them as well – their drop catching ability and success rate has certainly improved since upgrading their systems.
Education / Training Is Booming
As I have written previously, the online education sector is absolutely going nuts. Competition for good domain names (amongst providers) is very apparent. I’m getting enquiries every week – and I know others are too.
A couple of the sales I made were TafeCourse.com.au and TafeCourse.net.au (Seek Learning purchased both of these).
So if you have some good domain names in these verticals, it might be a good idea to review your pricing!
