There has been a huge response to the current .au policy considerations. Much of the debate has been around whether direct .au registrations should be allowed (e.g. domainer.au), and if so, what protections (if any) should be afforded to existing registrants.
At domainer.com.au we’re following this very closely and will be keeping our readers updated throughout. It has been terrific to see the engagement that we’ve had from stakeholders across the industry. We greatly appreciate all of you sharing your views here and contributing to this important discussion.
I thought it would be useful at this point to provide a brief overview of the media coverage to date. Please let me know if I’ve missed anything!
