Hot off the auDA website is the announcement by the Policy Review Panel (PRP) of some public policy review forums throughout February 2018.
They’ll be sharing their proposals for the future of the .au domain space, as well as looking for feedback on all issues about the .au domain.
Given past practice, I would expect that the PRP will soon be publishing a paper regarding these proposals. Stay tuned!
These events are free to attend for both auDA members and the public and we encourage everyone to attend to help shape this crucial resource.

Ned O’Meara – 23rd January 2018
The new .au’s should be managed and marketed alike the new .uk’s were. Where the holders of .co.uk domains were given first preference with time frame attached for the purchase of each newer .uk equivalent domain space they held, so should .com.au holders be given first choice with similar time frame attached to purchase the new .au equivalent.
Cheers!
