Catching Up On The Action

Whilst I was away for all of last week, that didn’t stop me participating in the expired auctions!

And as always, I kept track of the overall results. So here’s a “blow by blow”.

19th March

There were 15 contested domains on Netfleet; and they won all but one (which happened to be the top one). monaco.com.au was lost – bid was $300 +/+). Domain Shield was the successful dropcatcher. Losing bid on Drop was $256.

Other domains snapped by NF were vetsupplies.com.au at $290 +/+ (no bid on Drop); followed by fmh.com.au for $288 +/+ (bid on Drop was only $167);  thewarehouse.com.au for $215 +/+ (bid on Drop was only $8)

Overall, 6 domains achieved 3 figure bids, with the other 9 of them sold from $65 +/+ down to $10 +/+.

20th March

Quiet day with only 8 contested domains on Netfleet; and they won all of them.

Top domains were fad.com.au – bid was $678 +/+ – losing bid on Drop was $679; followed by wnca.com.au at $400 +/+ (no bid on Drop).

Overall, 6 domains achieved 3 figure bids, with the other 2 of them sold from $62 +/+ down to $20 +/+.

Top domains were twinwaters.com.au – bid was a very cheap $369 +/+; (bid on Drop was $225); followed by preapproval.com.au at $312 (losing bid on Drop was just $2!).

I was very happy to pick up “twinwaters” to add to my geographic portfolio. Also scored what I thought was an excellent buy in surfersparadiseaccommodation.com.au (I’ve already received a decent offer for this).
