Some Real Estate Agents Really Get It

So what can you do to be one step ahead of your competition in terms of digital marketing? Here are just a few thoughts:
- At the very minimum, invest in a “real estate domain” that relates to your suburb / town / city. You don’t have to build a new website – simply re-direct it to your agency site. Wouldn’t you rather have the “exact match domain” rather than your competitor? It’s a great selling feature when doing a listing presentation. e.g. NoosaRealEstate.com.au or ByronBayRealEstate.com.au
- And if you’re still hesitant about investing in a geographic domain name for your business, just remember this. The commission on one sale as a result of someone typing in the exact match domain and being re-directed to your agency website will pay for the domain many times over!
Jeremy is one of those agents that do really get it. He’s always been prepared to invest in his business, and having the best domain names are an essential part of that success. Some agents look at domain names as a “cost” – others, (like Jeremy), consider them an essential investment in their continuing and future success.
As I said last year, if he gets just one sale from having the best and most descriptive domain name for what he offers (Byron Bay Real Estate), then he is miles in front.
In a cyber sense, he has location; location; location!
Not only that, but this exact match domain name is always going to be a valuable asset which is capable of being sold at any time.
